Exciting Leadership Position at Deniliquin Childcare Centre




We are seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our Childcare Centre located in Deniliquin, NSW, on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of centre operations, including leadership, compliance, staffing, and creating a safe and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of educators, supported by an Educational Leader and 2IC

  • Build strong relationships with staff, children, and families

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and champion continual improvement

  • Manage staffing, rostering, and cost control

With the support of the Educational Leaders and a 2IC, you will generally be working off the floor and will be responsible for staffing management, rostering and cost control. You will be well-supported by our administration team, who will ensure that enrolments, accounts and fee processing are managed, leaving you to focus on continual improvement.

About You

You’ll hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent with experience in a leadership role or as a Nominated Supervisor. 

The successful candidate will need to hold or be willing to obtain:

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Child Protection, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates

  • National Police Check (within 6 months)

  • Current Working with Children Check

  • NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accreditation (if applicable)
